Do you feel awkward in photos and need help with WHERE TO PUT YOUR HANDS?! Or is there something you are self conscious about? I hear this from 99% of my brides before their engagement session, and when I show them photos of themselves they can hardly believe it! Pet Friendly
As a fellow fur mother I fully encourage you to include your pets in your engagement session, bridal session, and/or wedding if possible! Bring one, bring all! And if you’re concerned about how well behaved they will be, don’t worry! I’m a dog whisperer. Just browse my Instagram feed and see all of the couples that included their pets. Even if they are wild and crazy I promise we will get great family shots!

Editing Queen
I’ve spent the last 8+ years perfecting my editing style and consistency in how my images look. I’m very meticulous and believe your dress detail should be visible i.e. no “glowing” wedding dresses and colors stay true to life. My style is very bright, but your skin will look like skin(not washed out). I am also skilled in Photoshop and can fix many things--pit stains, stray hairs, zits, tanlines-- you name it! This photo is an example. The bridesmaid on the far left had a purple/mauve dress, but you can’t tell!

My first wedding I shot solo was in 2012. Since then I have photographed over 200 wedding days and have SEEN IT ALL. Every lighting situation, every time constraint, weather conundrums, family dynamics; the list goes on. I have truly learned how to turn lemons into lemonade for every unexpected twist and turn that inevitably happens on wedding days. I cannot say enough good things about Allison. We got married in Dallas during the second wave of COVID AND a one-in-one-hundred years snow storm, and Allison didn't miss a beat. You’re going to spend more time with your photographer on your wedding day than anyone else. Book her! She is the sweetest person and best photographer!!! THE PERFECT WAY TO REMEMBER YOUR WEDDING DAY
Handcrafted Albums
These aren't your parents' wedding albums. Our flush-mount albums slay flat and the images are printed directly onto the pages.
How it works: After you receive your wedding photos, choose about 75 of your favorite images. I'll design your spreads and share them with you for approval or edits.
You choose your cover material and all of the little extra details like a cameo photo or debossing, and I'll order your album and have it drop-shipped to your house!
After we deliver your gallery, we'll work with you to order prints and design an album that will become an heirloom for your family.
Albums must be prepaid before design begins and typically take between 4 to 6 weeks to complete (including revisions).
With the exception of printing errors, all albums are non-returnable. Albums may be ordered anytime before or after the wedding day. The holiday deadline for beginning an order is November 1st.
Wedding albums are available a la carte or as part of your wedding collection.
Celebrating a season
Engagement Sessions
If you or your Honey are "shy" or "awkward" in front of the camera, have no fear. I can't tell you how many times I've heard those words come from my clients, but that is what the engagement session is for--to get comfortable in front of the camera and get used to my direction. And don't worry, I'll tell you exactly what to do with your hands. My clients always walk away from their session thinking "WOW! I can't believe we looked that GOOD!"
You can schedule your engagement session as early as you you would like. If you're sending out Save The Dates, I would suggest planning your engagement session to be 9-10 months before your wedding date, so you can send out your Save The Dates (never to be abbreviated "STD" ;)
The best time to photograph your session is 2 hours before sunset! That's when the good glowy light comes out and you get those dreamy photos you've been wanting!

1. You get to choose your location.
I've photographed bridal sessions in many different locations, and had amazing opportunities to photograph locations and animals I otherwise wouldn't have. Whether you want giraffes, horses , or llamas (really!), we can make that happen for you.
2. You get to try on the dress and "break it in."
Many of my brides have noticed things about the way their dress fit during their bridal session, and had extra alterations done so they would be more comfortable on their wedding day
3. Trial hair and makeup.
You'll be able to get a trial run of your hair and makeup to see if you like the way it photographs, and you'll have the chance to get what you really want for your wedding day look.

What is an associate?

An Allison Jeffers Associate is a photographer who has trained countless hours with Allison, and knows the ropes to weddings. They will photograph your wedding and Allison will edit it to match our bright and joyful style.

How far in advance should we book our wedding?
A:
Most of our clients book 9-18 months in advance! ESPECIALLY for those weddings during wedding season (March-June and October-December). We recommend reserving your date as far in advance as possible to make sure we get to work together since we receive 600+ inquiries per year.

We love you! How do we book you?

Fantastic! To reserve your wedding date, we’ll need a signed contract and a 40% non-refundable retainer(deposit). The remaining balance will be due 90 days before the wedding.

How many photos will we receive?
A:
We don't believe in limiting the number of images you receive, so it's never a set number. However, you will receive 75+ images per hour that we are shooting. Your online gallery will come loaded with fully edited high resolution images you can print anywhere. You’re also welcome to share your wedding photos on social media as long as you credit us.

When do you charge travel fees for weddings?
A:
We typically add travel fees on to any wedding outside of a 90 mile radius from our home in Central Texas. Fees vary depending on location so ask us for more details.

When should we schedule our engagement session?
A:
Whenever you would like! We can shoot this immediately upon booking or if you're from out of town, we can schedule something closer to the wedding day.
